Hey everyone!! Just thought i'd make a thread so I can keep up with everything as well as give back to the forums with things that work or issues I have.

My vehicle is a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T. Bought from "Hollywood" and in desperate need of TLC. Engine wise, this car is solid.

My goal with the car is to make a reliable commuter that will be able to safely and confidently take corners and curves. I LOVE round-abouts!! I'm not one for highway racing or seeing if my car can do 130 mph.

So, I bought this car with 137k miles, With a newer transmission and a 6-bolt swap. Not having any credit and no way of a co-signer the seller let me make payments on it, After I put down all the money I had as a down payment and after I made a few payments, "Hollywood" told me it had a salvaged title. I was already $1,500 into paying it off and couldn't turn back, Being that I needed a commuter and it got me to work and back.

Since I bought it in July of 2011, I've only had a few breakdowns, but nothing serious. My main concern was the brake line tubing that was being used to feed oil to the turbo. It cracked on a cold start-up, Luckily I had stopped at the gas station 2 blocks from my house and had noticed the puddle, if not the turbo and very well the engine would've been killed. Not too happy about that one..

These are all the parts I have receipts for. it comes in over $1000 in just parts. I always get the best brand they have. No store brand junk.

Things i've replaced that were missing, broken or were painted pink:

Valve cover painted red wrinkle, with polished lettering

Faded Lenses were replaced with projector lenses, Aimed to spec, night time visibility is 3x better

Carbon Fiber Spark Plug Cover

Clear Side markers. The amber just clashes with the silver.. yuck..

Alignment and New Tires mounted, These tires come stock on the Roush Mustang, I figure they'd be good enough for the eclipse.

Old radiator and hoses

New radiator

While I was in there, I taped off, sanded and sprayed black undercoat over the lower support, It was silver before and without the shroud stood out and looked gross

My plans within the next month are to have the wheels blasted and powder coated, I'm going to go with as similar of a silver that I can find.

Here are some pics of the car!!
