Machine shop that would custom machine a part?
Are there any local machine shops that are willing to do small batches of custom parts for a reasonable price? It would basically just consist of lathe work - turning a piece of steel cylinder, drilling some holes and tapping. I could give them a CAD model.
I've never done this before, looking for advice. I assume this wouldn't be an automotive machine shop - more like a production shop.
