ebay intercooler

would this be good for a 95 del sol or would there be better options? Saw this same intercool on Bob Vieux's Porsche this weekend and it is 6 inches thick. Would that be a good flowing intercooler for the mass amount of boost thats going to be thrown at it 7 psi. I'm just curious dunno.

Dont know how much room a del sel has between the front bumper and the radiator to put that thick beast.

Id just get a nice dsm SMIC and call it done. Thats all you would need.

weld up 2 dsms side mount. 6 inches think is probably a bit much for the del sol, but then again I have never seen under the bumper.

6" thick will not fit unless you completely hack the bumper up leaving the IC exposed and even then it will stick out further than the bumper support. I recomend a smic, they can fit where the factory intake resonator was and it will be hardly visable, unless thats not what your going for.

Except for when those crimped on plastic endtanks blow off of the core with anything over 15 psi. But it shouldn't be an issue with a turbo'd honda running around 8 psi.
I have seen those tanks blow off, it is some scary but cool shit.

Mine held 27psi.

But anyhow, I think that looks like plenty of IC for a great price if it'll fit. Gives you lots of room to play when you want to up the boost later. The core size of that thing is probably as big or bigger than a SSMIC.

Hey joe, for that price, you can probably pick up a Starion FMIC that would probably be better, but the only problem is, you might have to pipe inlet/outlet. But whatever u decide :goodluck:

Ryan at RnR had turboed one of his integras. It was pretty quick. His fmic..... 2dsm sidemounts welded together. He did a clean job with em too and it looked pretty nice.

Also my friend sean ran a 12.2 in his talon with 2 sidemounts welded as a fmic.
