clutch cable adjsutement...

i was driving.. everything was fine.. all of a suddenly, my shifter seemed sticky and it seemed like one of my cables were about to come off... (been there) so i drove it home in 4th and seen that my cables were fine.. but i looked closer and where the cables go onto (gear selector?? the part with the weight on it.) the mount was loose on it.. so i tightened it back up without the cables on it and it seemes like i just locked it into place where the shifter feels rough and cant get into reverse!! i can move the shifter on the tranny in all gears... but once i hook up the cables i cant seem to find gears without trying a couple of times or forcing it. now where is the adjustment for the cables. (sorry for the long story)

How does the engagement of your clutch feel? Where does it engage at?

Re: clutch cable adjsutement...

the engagement feels fine off the clutch.. what i meant was that the transmission doesnt like selecting gears. it has nothin to do with the clutch..
