There's difference in all generations, good and bad.
Todays younger generations are the more in tune with technology then ever. That's not a bad thing at all. When I was 13 I thought a pager was cool. Today's 13 year olds have an iTouch and scream through that thing faster than I'll ever be able to do. I wouldn't be quick to jump to such a broad conclusion that they are mostly lazy, sounds a bit nieve to me.
