Hey guys,

I guess I have been thinking a lot about my career path lately and I think I have it narrowed down. I want to major in journalism and possibly end up writing for a car related magazine such as car and driver or something along those lines.

If I go that route some type of high performance driving school would definately look good and increase my background for that type of position. And it would be fun as hell!

So, does anyone know of any well known schools that I could check into. They don't have to be local and price is no object. I just want to get a really good background in high performance street/road course driving as well as some background in racing technique.

I was looking into one by Bob Bondurant that is located in Phoenix, AZ. I have also heard of the Skip Barber school from somewhere...

Thanks for any input!

Chris

Chris,

Talk to my brother Scott. He's been doing SCCA/Road Coarse Racing for over 6 years(they race every weekend during the summer) now and has been to almost every performance driving school he could get out to.

you named 2 of the biggest, most well known ones. bondurant and skip barber. i believe both have a top level of formula ford (or formula mazda) small open-wheel cars after you progress through their street car sessions
