Tire sale @ Walmart

brownman just told me that he picked up a set of 245/40-17 Dunlop Direzza DZ101's for like $50/tire. Anyone know about this locally?

DZ101s are okay, but nothing to write home about. $50/tire is cheap any way you look at it though.

Yea, they're not ranked very highly, but for $50 they're awesome!

Re: Tire sale @ Walmart

My dad has those tires on his 911, the one I took on the cruise, and those tires gripped very well actually. I pushed them pretty hard as well.

Awesome prices!

That's what she said.

I didn't see any smoke or hear any squealing, you didn't push them hard enough, IMO.

A similar note about these tires... When the Dunlop Direzza Z1 first came out (their ultra sweet street tire) I was looking around locally for them and damn near every place I called to ask about the Z1 I was met with the question, "Do you mean the DZ101?" I facepalmed many times.

Re: Tire sale @ Walmart

Haha its hard to spin a carerra 4's tires. :P A turbo, sure, but not an NA.

Those tires dont squeal either, they did slide around plenty of times, but they were really quiet doing so. My pilots are the same way, they just dont make any noise while drifting around. haha

For the money they are decent, thats all im sayin.
