Anyone Elss Racing Online?

i also race online. i'm a member of TTB. www.thetruebadboys.com we are a group of guys that used to play a game called mco or motor city online. it might have been the best damn car, race, build game i have ever seen. we are now doing leages in nascar, craftsman truck, bush, and tptcc. i'm also playin need for speed underground and bata testing the mco mod so if your also into online racin lets hook up and race

Right up my alley! I play NASCAR Racing 4 online in a league that races Cup and Craftsman Trucks weekly, following the real schedules. I've been racing sims online since about 1996 back when the original NASCAR Racing had a dialup system to race on called HAWAII.

Aside from NASCAR Racing I spend a lot of time turning laps in Live For Speed. Best and most realistic road racing sim out there. I used to play Motor City Online, but the novelty wore off after a while.

I used to play Battlefield 1942 and the Desert Combat mod a couple hours every day, and played in plenty of matches with my clan... Working evenings quickly took care of that. I bought Battlefield Vietnam and play that every now and then and am still active in the online community, but can't wait till the leagues/ladders get into full swing with that.

right on bro i'm playin nascar racing 2003 season because of all the mods. just like bf1942. i also am on vietnam but i really feel ea needs to release a much needed patch for online play at least. but i am on a real dog of a pc. lol

My bad, I said "4" but meant "2003". My league races the trucks and they're damn fun. We do fixed setups for all events and it really brings out the fun in the game. The racing is always close and it's anyone's chance to win a race.

BFV definitely needs a patch... So many things are unbalanced it gets quite old after a few minutes in a public server. My clan (Rara Avises (=RAV=)) is in first on the Squadgames and TeamWarfare ladders that just started... Lucky us to take the early lead.

i looked at live for speed when it first came out back when mco was still running. back then online was real laggy. been realy workin on my nsfu dsm and maxing that bitch out to be a skyline killer. i've gone though the game like at least 10 times because i keep forgeting to save it. fixxed set on nascar huh? that makes it fun. its hard to run cup without a fixed set because ya never know how someone elss has there car set. most the guys i run with are real hard core most of them think that they are dale ernhart reborn. lol what a joke. so i'm looking for some new guys to maybe run with. so lets hook up some time. btw. what ya running with? keyboard, wheel, game pad what? i have a momo red and my wife has the momo black. and yes i said wife she's real mean in a stock car. i was on cca in mco and was a member of mxp we owened at turf wars. but that was no thanks to me. lol hope to run ya soon.

i'm also a painter for nascar. i have most of the templates so if your lookin for a custom paint for one of your cars, trucks, vetts, stangs, whatever i would be glad to paint it for ya.

If you are interested in a friendly cup or truck league check out www.ilbts.metalpit.com and sign up. Trucks race Wednesday nights and cup is Sunday nights, with a few scheduled practices each week. The racing is close, but it's the cleanest racing I've ever been around.

Desert Combat is my game. Not a fan of Battlefield Vietnam or Battlefield 1942 (vietnam runs like crap on my more or less top of the line system). If any of you play Desert Combat PM me sometime, I have a local clan (undefeated) that plays regularly.

Actually, we plan on it, but we've never lost a scrim (we've played some of the top clans on CAL) along with other clans at local LAN's (i.e. MNLAN and MMX) in tournys. We just need to get a server then we'll see how well we do. But you shouldn't talk sh** about someone's skills when you don't know them . But as i was saying, if any of you would like to play with us sometime, let me know.

are u guys talking about the Newest NASCAR game called like NASCAR Thunder 2004?

If so, it sounds like a good game but wondering do u guys have steering wheels or u use the keyboard to play. I am thinking about getting the game but I am usually a 1st person shooter and don't know much about cars. Do u guys think I will still have fun I like fast cars.

Do u guys do the full length of the races or shorten?

well after years of playin on my pc, ps2, or whatever elss i've played i can tell ya the newest games are not always the best. the nascar game i'm talking about is nascar racing 2003 season because there are other mods for it that let you race other then just nascar and there free online to downloads. tptcc has 6 speed vetts and stangs and gt40's shit like that. and its raod coase. but i put a tptcc car on daytona and hit like 225 without a draft. anyone who knows nascar knows thats damn fast.

most of the races i run are 20% of full. with moderit damage

We use NASCAR Racing 2003 Series made by Sierra/Papyrus. In my cup and truck league we run 50% of the real race distance.

I use the Microsoft Sidewinder force feedback wheel and pedals. When playing racing sims like these you get such a better feel of what the car is doing than without force feedback. When I first got FF I was amazed at how much quicker I could catch the car if it was pushing or getting loose than I could without FF... You'll instantly feel the wheel lighten up when the car gets out of shape, and it allows you to correct it that much quicker.

If NASCAR isn't your cup of tea there are a bunch of other great racing sims out there... Everything from F1 to dirt oval.

f1 is pretty good i have f1 challenge 99-02 so i can beta test the mco mod.
