Today at work I was talking to a guy about cars and it came up that he had a 91 talon tsi awd, and he wanted to get rid of it. So I told him I was interested and went to look at it. It turns out he bought it from a chick that crashed it so the front end needs a fender and a bumper cover but other than that it is in sweet shape.
It has 127,000 miles.
He said the car ran last fall but this sping it wouldn't start. It just clicks. So after talking a while I bought it for 450$.
Just wondering if anyone else thinks that was a good deal Because I did.
I just went and got the car. It wouldn't start on its own but I tried pull starting it and it took off. I let it idal a bit and then drove it a little before putting it on the trailer. It had good oil presure and boosted pretty goog but the front axels were making a clicking noise. Eather way i think It was a good buy.
Just put a new battery in and the car starts great. After looking it over all I need is a pass side fender, one tire, and a drivers side front axle. Its not brook yet but its going to. If anyone knows a good cheap place to get an axle please let me know.
