I'm planning on purchasing a gps navigation gadget pretty soon. I am stuck on either buying the
TomTom One 3rd Edition or the
Garmin Nuvu 200. Both of them are around the price range that I'm willing to spend money on. The only thing that is keeping me away from the Garmin is that some of their maps are like a older version (v.8), and to upgrade to (v.9) will be an additional $70 to upgrade. However, I'll be calling Garmin tomorrow during normal business hours to see if some of the later models of Garmin 200 came with the new version maps.
Any of you guys with personal experience with these navigators got a recommendation for which brand or product to go with instead?
