GT5 Time Trials

Since its all online I figured it would be fun to pick a car and track and see how close to the top we could get. I have just started to do this and I'm kinda hooked. So far done a few on High Speed Ring with my Viper and 05 EVO. Just kinda going threw a few of my cars and putting a name up there. I like Eiger Nordwand track too just because of the GT HD demo. I have a few records in the top 20 for the car, Pretty early on in the game so I suppose in the next couple months my time will be pushed down because the top 100 with be a margin of .001 no doubt.

Anyone else been doing this?

I'm kind of a viper fan, So I got the tuned version and the SRT10. The a few other misc.

Did the math, About 60 races on the oval on class S to reach the 2 mil mark.

I have a Z06, R34, R35 GTR, EVO 9, and the prize cars. Need to get my M3 coupe and Ferrari to beat the rest of the challenges.

Those races where you have to beat out the other cars and get 1st in one lap is kinda tough. I am happy to get 3rd!

I KNOW RIGHT! I hate where I get like 4-5 place and the cars that got first and second are the ones who started in first or second. Annoys me.

Some of those challenges just seem impossible. Has anyone beat the gold target time for the R35 GTR on High speed ring or whatever? I can't do any better than a 1:15.01x it seems like (1:15 is silver) and I have no idea how the hell someone can get 1:12 out of it because I'm doing it basically perfect on that race.

You pretty much have to draft every car or group of cars and be dead on, and have a little luck as well. Draft the cars that are faster then you and stay on their ass. its like Skitchin' (if any one played that game on Genesis! woot!)
What would be a really cool feature (but im not sure if they have it) is if you can create your own leader board of friends or members of dsmstyle, then post it up as like an official DSMStyle leaderboard. They used to do that with Counter Strike. But then again they would post up server stats for the clans server.
