Niether are great nor do they have room. When you buy a dsm, you buy it as a 2 passenger car. You can squeeze 4 people in if they are short.

No, not really. Maybe a little bit, but it's still not enough room for 2 adults.

I bet you cannot with your seat broken.
I think the 2g rear seats have more room. It is comfortable if you sit across the seats (atleast in a 2g). I have never rid in the back of my car so I will let remy or ghettostyle chime in on that. My car was a 3 seater, now a 2 without the back seat in the car. Now I can fit more!

I am about 5'11 195 pounds and I can barely fit in the back seat of a 2G The only reason I can is because I have been riding in the back seats of small cars for probably 5 years (was about 10) and know how to sit. There is no way in hell I could fit if I didn't put my knees to the outside of the seats. The seats are not really ment for people and don't expect any adult to get in the back willingly. The only reason is for insurance.
Also I can't get out of the back seat w/ my shoes on because they get so stuck under the seat.
Sorry to ramble. I guess I know alot about the backseat cause my brother has the dsm not me :headache: :headache: and I usually get stuck back there cause I am the only one who know how to fit lol.
if people are in the back it also makes the front cramped cause you need to push the seat so far up.

Yeah...
I've had two 2G's. The 95 talon had a TINY back seat... we've fit 5 people, me and 4 girls in it but i mean that thing is packed. The backseat is usually reserved for backpacks.
The 97 spyder I have now though, shit that backseat is non existant practically. I'm guessing becuase of hte more limited space + no hatch, but the backseat is practically vertical. I took a bunch of people to lunch (5 including me), and one person was laying basically.
If your little, hey! it works. I'm not huge, and most of my friends aren't tall, so it works... but its no fun for taking trips atleast.

Anyone can fit in the back if they want to. I am a fatass and I can sit in the back of a 2g pretty comfortably (sit on drivers side feet on pass side floor).
My backseat was reserved for backpacks. Now it is gone and reserved for whom or whatever wants to tumble around.

Here's your backseat 1G picture, just enough room for one of these. Now I just need a couple of mini Sparcos for my kids and it'll be like the old coaster at Valley Fair.

:-)
I need to get a speedcover or something for the back seat of the spyder. I hate giving people rides everywhere and then they put thier dirty shoes and get the carpet all dirty and have sharp objects that poke through leather fuckkaz.

fit 5 people in my old laser once. we had the seats way up, and the three guys in the back weren't even sitting down, they were like squating. We were only going like 3 miles though.
