You can "raise" it, but that is just preload. Have you ever set the preload for yourself? The usually come set for a 170 lb rider from the factory. You are a tad over that, so you might need some more preload. A good general rule is to get 1" of sag. Measure the height of the bike with noone on it, but upright (like to the license bracket or something). Then sit on the bike in riding position and have someone hold it so you don't fall, then have someone else measure they height with you on it. It should be about 1" lower than with you not on it. Make sure you are in a tuck position.
