Shocks/springs

are shocks / springs any different for a fwd vs awd?

From what i have read is that the awd shocks are almost the same except that the rod is 1" shorter. any insight on this?

Re: Shocks/springs

I just looked at Tokico's website and the only different part numbers were for the rear shocks as far as fwd and awd. I've wondered my self what the actual difference is.

Re: Shocks/springs

I have heard the AWD springs are stiffer in the rear, not sure if this is correct or not, as well if you put them in a FWD it will raise the rear up a little.
