Just got a new paintball gun...

Me and some buddies on sunday are going out to Jungle Island a paintball course to go kill some humans. WOOT. So i decided it was time to upgrade my gun. (I had a Spyder Elite, really old and very basic) I got a Spyder VS2 electronic gun with two modes (there is already a new circuit board in development to have more modes.)
I freakin love this gun, very accurate and very awesome for the price. I may end up getting a new barrel for it like a 14" barrel.
Anyone else play and what do you shoot?

I used to play a lot, but eversince it's become more of a "speedball" thing I lost all desire. I loved getting a group of 10-20 people together, find a nice wooded area, send one team in the woods and about 10 min later a second team goes in for the kill. I used a Basic spyder with an upgraded bolt, barrell, and trigger. I also sported a 10 round handgun back then. If I got back into it I would start with a basic Tippman 98 and add a few things as needed.

I play x-ball and super 7 national ball we are the most hated and feared team in MN (zero) . I ran fsl paintball before the owner of the build wanted are dock space and cancled are lease on us and I am a master air smith. Right now I shoot a silver and black russian leagon nxt shocker and the the wife has a shocktec/element ION. but I change gun's all the time keep them for a month ot 2 and get a new one

What did you spend on the gun?

Woodsball is so much more fun and relaxing. The speedball courses around the Cities have too many hardcore guys and teams that refuse to play with anyone but their teammates that it's just not fun for the casual player.

I've played a little. Was hoping to play more last summer, but my gun went wonky on me (would not auto cock itself) so I only played once.

Anyway, I agree that woods ball is the shizzle.

I like stalking and sneaking and such. A bunch of guys dropping a hopper a minute and hiding behind plastic just seems lame.
