Gtr 2

I just downloaded the demo version (312mb file). This sim is pretty damn good. If you like road racing FIA GT style, you'll love this. I'm going to have to buy the full version once it's released. To get the most out of it you'll need a high end video card. I'm currently running the BFG Tech 6800 GT OC with no problems.

Get it here.

I already own GT Legends which is their 60-70's era sim. It has Shelby Mustangs, Shelby AC Cobras, 'Vettes, Porsche, etc. It's a great game too.

Re: Gtr 2

The first GTR was fucking insane, to put it mildly. If you have a decent computer and a steering wheel with pedals and enjoy racing simulators, this is a must have.

Re: Gtr 2

The first GTR *IS* awesome. I have spent countless hours on the demo seeing how quick I could make the Lister Storm. I know Spa like the back of my hand now.

I was running it on a Radeon X850XT.

As far as wheel/pedals go, I would VERY HIGHLY recommend the Logitech MOMO Force Wheel and pedal assembly. It is, to put it mildly, bad ass.

I was a fan of the first GTR, Haven't tried the second one yet though.

For a good racing sim try out www.liveforspeed.net I have been playing that since it was in a beta version. Very fun game.
