Sohc, Dohc, Turbo? They can be intensive, budget a lot of time and then budget some more.
Turbo DOHC tips:
Motor mount comes off in a particular order, otherwise good luck getting it out (driver side front). Also ensure you pull the motor mount and then the lower timing belt cover; otherwise you'll break the cover most likely. Track where the bolts go as they are all different lengths.
Crank pulley is probably separated, ensure it isn't before reassembly
You can put the accessory belt on and tighten the a/c pulley from below the car; makes it easier.
Power steering pump doesn't have to come off if you have the proper tools, but the idler/tension pulley does.
Go slow, have fun, ensure all 4 cam gears align and the motor is at TDC when you install.
