Yes they do but since other people have had issues with 1680's I wanted FIC to look them over
Dunno if I'm even going to bother machining the flywheel, clutch had some good meat left on it...again, I gotta look things over and figure out the rest of these details still...

Dsm flywheels require the outer edge to be a specific height (.610") off of the center, by design. It's a silly thing but everyone with a 1g or 2g got to deal with it on every clutch job over the last 23 years.

Started with a little more swapping of valve tappets this morning to make the clearances as perfect as possible.
New motor pics:
NOT forgetting about this guy this time around
Re-using my MAP H11 headstuds that I installed in December...they will be put to the test soon
Nice little scuff in one of the cam journals...let'r buck
Halfway through teh day, my neighbor Paul stops by, 'want half a ribeye later?...ok here ya go!' Freaking epic. Ate with my bare oily/assembly lube'd hands
Head all cleaned up and ready to bolt on with a fresh head gasket:
Needed a gear puller to get this bad boy off the old block:
Timing set:
Slow day but after dinking around with the timing many times over, cleaning, cleaning, and re-cleaning...longblock! Just need some accessories, manifolds, wires, and flywheel/clutch!

Do any locals have their injectors done at Ravenworks in Maple Grove?
I'll be sending my 2000's to get flow tested and cleaned there. I believe they said it's $22 per injector, but includes new o-rings and before/after comparison.
Damn that timing job looks easy! Maybe I've been looking at Subaru motors too long but your longblock looks REALLY tall in this picture. Are the 4B11's any taller than an Evo 4G63?
