I've bought a drum set and a bass from members on here.
Hey Steve,

That would be great if you can bring that. My receiver/micophone thing will work, but I wouldn't mind having a little more power. I'm sure your PA equipment will be better than what I pieced together.

Thanks,
Curt

Well, not quite. I'm sure at least 20-30 of the people that signed up, will not show up. So I'm hoping we'll get another 20 people to sign up in the next two days. Or at least have some walk-ups to get our actual numbers a little higher. We'll see.

later,
Curt

Re: All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show -- August 19th, 2006

Hey guys,

I'm still looking for a couple of volunteers for the Cookout. The big thing is food preparation. Stacy needs help setting up the food and getting the food served. If anyone is bringing there significant others, and there significant others don't want to follow you around all day as you babble about cars, this might be a chance for them to do something more worthwhile.

We'll be grilling up almost 300 burgers and 200+ brauts on Saturday.

later,
Curt

Curt, is it possible for me to get my $5 back? I thought I was in the clear, but was sent to Cleveland yesterday, and nobody will be able to drive the car there for me. So I can't go. I was really aiming to rank in one of those spots for cleanest 1g too, damn.

Your refund has been sent.

And don't worry about the chance of rain. The food tastes the same.

Curt

Re: All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show -- August 19th, 2006

Hey everyone,

The All Mitsu Cookout is almost here!! Its tomorrow at the Rogers Middle School. The event runs from 11am to 4pm. I know the weather forecast doesn't look too great, but its a rain or shine event. We'll have a ton of cars, great prizes, and lots of food!! Don't let the weather deter you from coming. Its still a kick ass event.

We've got 150 cars signed up now. Bring your lawn chair, your appetite, your camera, and a little bit of good luck. You'll need the luck so you can win some of the nice prizes we have to give away.

When you get to the school, take the first right where the stoplight is. If you are coming just to spectate or don't have a Mitsu, don't turn at the stoplight. Keep going and take the next right turn. Drive around the school and park in the lot for the buses. Its just a short walk from there over to the main lot.

See ya at the Cookout,
Curt

Anyone else getting an error when downloading the sign? It might be something here at work, but I haven't had it block any other download.

Just checked weather.com and partly cloudy with almost no chance of rain in the morning. Sunny ALL afternoon. I will be there as a spectator as long as it isnt raining in the morning.
