Maybe Mark is useing paper thin piping for weight savings so he couldn't tighten T-bolts as much as you!

They are cheap for a BAller like you.
I paid 210 for three 3inch a few years ago.
I have 3 of those clamps on my car and work great. Only advice I'd give is Just make sure to use a little oil on the rubber O-rings so it's easier to put together and they don't dry out and crack or break. That's what I did and no leaks or pop offs in 3 years!
