Help me with Coil Overs...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...941907754&rd=1

they say it fits rs, gs, gst, gsx. How does it fit all? Whats the difference between them all? I want to get this to drop my car, the cheap way, but I want to know if it fits and will work well.

Re: Help me with Coil Overs...

A buddy of mine bought some eBay cheapies a few years back for his '95 Talon and I don't know if they could been any bigger POS's. Terrible ride, poor fitment, cheap build. I can't image how shitty the latest eBay cheapies have come to be.

Re: Help me with Coil Overs...

Those will fit all the models, they are just sleeves that fit over the shock body. They will drop your car, but I can guarantee the ride will suck and so will the handling.

So I should stick with what I have and wait to get the goodies. What about changing my springs to some dropped springs, Eibach, Sparco, or H&R? Would that be decent enough?

You could also check into QA1 products since they are a local manufacturer: http://www.qa-one.com/

You'll want to replace your shocks at the same time as you install springs or coilovers.

Re: Help me with Coil Overs...

I got some fairly new stock gst struts, would those work? They have less than 2k on them.

Re: Help me with Coil Overs...

They should work out with some Eibach Pro-Kit springs, but don't go with anything lower than that. They'll deffinately wear out faster than with stock shocks, but since they are so new it'll be good for a while at least.
