Pauls bikes
I see some bike threads on here so I figure I will start one.
07 gsxr 1000 that iam putting back to stock and selling it come spring.
03 busa that iam building into a drag bike. Plans for this season are swingarm 12 inch over, 2 inch flat oil pan, and side winder exhaust. I would also like to get the bike lower.
03 turbo busa. Bike has a stage 1 turbo kit boosting 5 pounds. Plans are to get the throttle body seals fixed and fix the oil return line. I might turn up the boost after I fix the 2 things. I should be able to go up to 8 pounds on pump gas. I plan on keeping it a pump gas bike.
02 honda cr 250 2 smoke. Plans for this beast are new tires and strip the bike down and fix anything it needs before I trail ride it this summer. Bike has been to hell and back. Never skipped a beat even after it hydro locked a couple years ago.

Re: Pauls bikes
Here's a time slip from last at bir. My best time on the bike running mr12 race gas. This summer I hope to run 9.3x on pump gas with the bike longer and lower.

Re: Pauls bikes
That's one the white busa. I have not taken the turbo bike to the track yet. I might take the turbo bike to the track this spring and see if I can get a 9 out of it. It's stock wheel base, stock gearing, and stock ride height. It loves to wheelie 1st and 2nd gear.

Re: Pauls bikes
Hahahaha priceless
Hopefully the gsxr will be sold by spring. Then I will just ride the turbo busa till it sells. Hopefully sell close to fall so I can pick up a cheap cruiser. Gf told me I should buy a cruiser. So that's the plan. Cruiser, drag bike, and some dirt bikes. I don't know if I will buy another street bike. I can always ride the drag on the street and push my lucky with the police.

Re: Pauls bikes
Worked in the garage today and finish exhaust swap on the gsxr. I have somebody that sounds interested in buy the gsxr soon. I worked on the busa a little today too. I bought a chrome moly swingarm that's 12 inches longer then stock. It should be a little lighter then the stock swingarm. Bike weighs 470 pounds right now. I hope after the swingarm and some other stuff I plan on doing I can get the bike down to 450 pounds. I also plan on painting the bike this winter. Iam thinking blue or red right now. Here's what the bike looks like now with stock swingarm with 6 inch extensions and it plastic dipped white.

Re: Pauls bikes
Installed my new swingarm tonight. Pretty happy with how easy it was to install the new arm and how it looks installed. Now I need to figure how long of a chain I need and figure out how to use my rear brake or just ditch the rear brake. Getting close one part at a time.

Re: Pauls bikes
Your 60-0 times would be a lot better with a rear brake. I say keep it especially if that thing is going that fast in the 1/4.

Re: Pauls bikes
That swingarm looks good on there for sure!
Fuck a back brake, I'd have my off if I didn't have to modify the bracket so I can use the speedo sensnsor

Well I guess I will order a spacer so I can delete the rear brake.

Re: Pauls bikes
So I took all the plasti dip off the bike and started to prep it for paint. So far I have painted the tail section on the bike. Iam very happy on how good the tail section turned out for a rush job. I will take as many pics possible.
One picture is it all primed, 2nd picture is it painted, 3rd is it all wet sanded and buffed
