Title: Clean and in-hand. The registration is current.
Mileage: 97,236
Vehicle history: I purchased this car in September of 2004 from a local here in Ames. Prior to that, he had purchased it off of eBay from someone in Chicago. I have a folder full of paperwork from the last owner (eBay transaction record, parts receipts, etc.), however, I can not seem to locate it. When I do find it, it will be provided to the new owner. The car was last run on July 22, 2007 when it was trailered to my house from my parent’s and driven off of the trailer into my driveway. I occasionally drove it from the time of purchase until it was parked in my driveway.
Exterior color: Red
Exterior condition: The exterior has seen better days. The last owner had someone back into him, which is why the left fender, door, and quarter panels are dented up. There are mulitple spots of rust as is typical with DSMs of this era. The pictures outline the details pretty well.
Interior color: Gray cloth.
Interior condition: The interior is in ok condition. It had a junk alarm system installed in it when I purchased the car. I removed it about 2 years ago but used butt splices to link everything back together. Ideally, these splices will be removed and the connections soldered with heat shrink. The interior does need a good cleaning as I have never really cleaned it. The trim panels are disassembled in the hatch area.
Mechanical condition: The 1-2 synchro is shot in the transmission. It does blow blue smoke which I suspect is a result of blown valve stem seals.
Modifications: K&N air filter, Magnecor spark plug wires, NGK plugs, eBay strut tower bar.
