First up, the Spearco. It comes in 2 sizes, 24x5.75x3.5 amd 24x11.5x3.5. Cost is $735 and $905 respectivly.

Next up is the AGPturbo Intercooler. Its size is 24x12x3.5 and cost is $699,

Third is the Perrin FMIC, size 25x10.75x3, cost is $1050.

Talk to Jeremy up at Archer Racing, they have a few modded (both track and street) SRT-4's sitting up there right now.

i know Vivid Racing uses nothing but Perrin intercoolers. They are very well made and designed. But the guys at Vivid probably aren't as conserned with price as one of us would be. That AGP one looks pretty good and the price is nice too

The Perrin FMIC looks good and if price was no problem and I owned a Neon, it would be my first choice.

Next would be the AGP, Cheap! Never cared for the box style end tanks though.

Next the big Spearco. Always hear good things about Spearco.

Non of this is based on any technical info, just the way I feel. If I new more than the dimensions and price I might think differently, but, I don't and I'm not going to research.

also, not sure about neon specific applications, but Perrin usually designs there intercoolers so that most of the stock pieces can still be used such as bumper braces, undertrays, etc.

Exactly how I feel, Perrin, AGP, Spearco.
Reason, if im gonna spend a grand, id get the Perrin over the large Spearco. But for only $699, im sure that AGP cant be all that bad!
Its kinda a tossup at the moment.

The Perrin comes with a "little" bumper brace, as you can see. That replaces the stock unit. Either way, I wont be getting anything for the SRT until the Dakota is paid off, hopefulley by April. That will give me some more time to see how people are doing with thes.
I do know one guy dynoed with a relatively stock SRT at 16whp with the perrin, but that was at only 13psi, where my hi/low boost settings are 21/19.
Id like to see a pic of the larger Spearco though.
Thanks for the input.
Anymore is welcome.

haha, yea its getting late, he gained 16whp with the perrin.
Heres a quote
"Ok, if you have been following my upgrades here is how things have gone for me.

Bone stock:14psi-12psi at redline
211whp 239tq

Then I added:14psi-12psi to redline
VRS 3"exhaust+dp w/ cat and AEM intake
224.4hp 254.2wtq

Day before yesterday:
VRS 3" exhaust+dp w/racepipe/AEM intake/ Unorthodox UDP/ SPP 02 housing/ Rage WGA set at 14.5psi-13psi at redline
244.7whp 267.7wtq

Today:
w/ Perrin FMIC installed
VRS 3" exhaust+dp w/racepipe/AEM intake/ Unorthodox UDP/ SPP 02 housing/ Rage WGA set at 14.5psi-13psi at redline
260.7whp 279.5wtq

I picked up a total 16whp by bolting on the Perrin FMIC at the same boost level. I also picked up 13wtq and larger gains through the power band. Almost identical temps and humidity levels as 2 days prior to todays dyno. Basically we made 4 pulls. All of them were within 1-3hp of eachother. All pulls were made back to back with about 1-2min apart from eachother.

What the dyno is actually telling me is that the car is making more power, more consistently. With the stock IC dyno's done back to back the hp would drop. The car had very little cool down time from the 30 min drive to LUJAN motorsports. Bottom line is the intercooler makes power. Good power. My AFR's were 12.1-12.2. I am also still using the stock computer and injectors.

My suspicions were correct. When I took off the stock intercooler yesterday, it was so light. You want your intercooler to have some mass to it. I was sitting there by myself doing the install and saying, no wonder stage2 is coming w/ an intercooler water sprayer. Dynamicsrturbo(pablo) of Lujan was stunned. Willie was thinking I was going to lose power. Heck, I thought I might lose a little to. Imagine our suprise when it layed down more power. I told Willie to do another run right away and it cam back 260 as well. The third run came back at 258whp. After that, I said"ok, it's a wrap!" I want to thank everyone for their little bits of advice here and there.

Keep in mind the car is only pushing 13psi!! Imagine if I had more fuel and was able to see 17-18psi what the gains would be. Nothing outrageous but I would imagine 20-25whp gains would be easily attainable. Ok, just passing along information."

The Perrin appears to have the best intake design. It is also a bar & plate, so it should flow well. That would be my top choice also.

I'd go with the perrin
But as of late my modo has been, buy once, buy right, don't skimp, just wait.

that AGP one is pretty low cost. I mean the endtanks may not be as nice, but it has more surface area then the Perrin. It'd be nice to see some actual numbers for both of those, like how much they flow and pressure drop. If it was my car id most likely buy the AGP because of the price, but i think its obvous that the perrin is better.

I think any of them would be a BIG improvement over the stock unit. I like the quality of the workman ship on the Perrin. I think they have a better end tank design. But like I said "I think any of them would be a BIG improvement over the stock unit".
