What year 6 bolt flywheel do I need for my 6bolt motor install into a 2g?

I have a six bolt flywheel that I tried to install today but it was too big to fit inside the bellhousing of the 2g AWD tranny. It is about 1/2" bigger than my old 7 bolt flywheel. I thought any AWD 6 bolt flywheel would fit inside the 2g AWD tranny.

Are you sure it's an AWD flywheel?

Sounds like you have a FWD 6-bolt flywheel.

If you need an AWD 6 bolt stock flywheel, I have one laying around that could use some resurfacing. Free if willing to picking up from either my house(South St Paul) or my work(Bloomington).

I am sorry to hear that, I also have a 6bolt flywheel that needs to be redone.
