Haha we'll see, my biggest issue is going to be remaining content with EF4 power levels when the Evo X HP record is a mere 872whp

Re: MAP's 2008 Evolution X GSR Build Thread aka Project GGX
6466 isn't big? From what I have seen the spool is better than the 6765 and makes similar power. I am guessing if you max the turbo the 6765 (well now probably 6766) will make more but he doesn't need to max it to break the record

Looks good, I've always liked the stockish look with a good set of wheels and tires.

Re: MAP's 2008 Evolution X GSR Build Thread aka Project GGX
Very impressive. I can't wait to get up there to see this car in person. We did an X similar to this, E85, FP Black (which Brian from FP gave us to guinea pig but left a washer in the compressor housing so the turbo didn't spin at all), and at 28lbs. I was a bit nervous for the customer but it held up fine. Very impressed with the responsiveness.

Just build a nice fun street car like you already have, it's the 'right' thing to do! Have fun with it every day!

That is hawt! I just got done porting my new head and it didn't turn out that nice. I'm curious about the dimples outboard of the valves, I take it that's factory on the X's for some reason?

Re: MAP's 2008 Evolution X GSR Build Thread aka Project GGX
Wondering if you have the numbers of what a stock head flows vs this ported one?
Can you do a overlay with the ported head with the graph and mods below?

Formatting sucks sorry, there is a better table here:
http://www.maperformance.com/map-sta...ox-chs-s5.html
Stock Cylinder Head
Lift (Intake) .100" .200" .300" .400" .450" Lift (Exhaust) .100" .200" .300" .400" .450"
%flow .291 .585 .800 .910 .940 %flow .221 .555 .637 .662 .669
CFM 85.27 170.50 234.50 267.00 276.50 CFM 69.24 174.15 199.85 207.70 210.10
MAP Stage 5 Cylinder Head
Lift (Intake) .100" .200" .300" .400" .450" Lift (Exhaust) .100" .200" .300" .400" .450"
%flow .308 .615 .870 .660 .690 %flow .231 .592 .783 .803 .806
CFM 90.10 180.50 254.00 290.50 302.00 CFM 72.54 185.90 245.90 252.00 253.10
I'm afraid I won't be able to do a back to back as I'm building the bottom end at the same time plus a few other goodies
