Re: Where us DSM'ers should meet up on the weekends?

I ended up going back to Eagan around 10 because my boyfriend wanted to come back on the motorcycle. So we ended up doing that and when we came back there was no one left so we ended up at the Wendy's over by Spring St. and then headed to Stephan's for a bit then back to this other place.

I was going to go to spring street wendy's, as I was there the night before with other friends. I ended up leaving around midnight last night, which is rather early for me. hopefully, i'll be tuned come next weekend.

Re: Where us DSM'ers should meet up on the weekends?

Wendy's on Broadway/Industrial seems to be a hot spot this year. Plus the cops don't kick us out...that is..if everyone isn't being stupid and not burning out when they leave. Good chill spot though. Definately worth checking out this year.

It seems that everytime I drive by the Wendy's on University, I never see any DSM's there . Is Style meeting somewhere else? Or am I just coming at the wrong time! Lol. I want to meet some of you guys (which I already have), since I am new to the DSM community! Well, Hopefully I'll see you guys out there!

Re: Where us DSM'ers should meet up on the weekends?

Speaking of people being stupid...

Most DSMers have been great down on Uni so far this year, but there have been a few people stop-light racing, excessive engine revving/blowing off, parking lot burnouts, etc. These are the things that get us kicked out. WOT is not required when leaving a parking lot. If we can show businesses that we are respectful of their property and neighbors and do nothing but peacefully gather I am sure the cops will be a lot easier on everyone. Again, 90% of the people have been great, but all it takes is one or two to ruin it for everyone. Also, watch those those door dings, I recieved a huge scuff on my passenger door last night, I know who it was (DSMer from this board, I won't say who) but I won't make a big deal of it because I was able to buff it out this morning. Sorry to act like the motherly figure here, but I been going down there for many years so I know how it all operates.

Re: Where us DSM'ers should meet up on the weekends?

Chris has a very good point. It's bad enough when you have a bunch of homos with their loud ass trucks with louder systems who keep revving tehir dumb shit motors and turning their music up alllllll the way. Unfortunately I don't think they could hear my little voice yelling at them to shut the fuck up.

Re: Where us DSM'ers should meet up on the weekends?

I just also wanted to say that it was good to see 10 dsms in one parking lot. So is this going to be a regular hangout for everyone on weekends? If so we should claim it early in the year so like no dumb ass trucks^ show up. It was fun and thanks for the help on my car. Hopefully it won't be squeeking next time (however i didn't feel so bad because there were about 4 other cars that had a belt squeek as well) hope to see everyone again
