Moving to Florida
So it is now 100% official, I am going to be moving to Orlando Florida the beginning of May. Things had changed at my current position some and moving up to the next level was delayed and a head hunter found me. I went down for an interview 3 weeks ago and accepted their offer last week. All of the background checks and stuff just went through.
I am pretty excited and nervous about the whole thing. I am trying to hurry and finish our basement remodel and also finish our master bath. Time is tight, so I am putting in some long hours working on that.
The new job is with JBT Aerotech. Not sure if I am going to be able to make the spring cruise, I really want to but I may have to be working on the house. I know it is going to come around fast! Wife and kids will stay up here for a bit so the kids can finish the school year here. She is hunting for a job down there now.
Needless to say I am going to having a blow out on some DSM parts soon! I have a ton of stuff that is going to need to go. Most of my vacation is going to be blown this next year, but maybe I can make it up for the fall 2016 cruise. If time allows I will try and have a shindig at my place before I go.

Re: Moving to Florida
Congrats on the new job, change is always good! Besides now you won't have to deal with snow, you will just be someone wearing a sweatshirt and jacket when it gets down to 50 degrees lol.

Wow, congrats. I wish I could move to orlando. So how does it work with flying down there with the interview? Do they reimburse the flight money?

Thanks everyone! I will be renting a room when I first head down then we will likely be renting a house unless ours sells really fast. Any car guys looking for a nice big house (3950 sqft) it is 5Br 4Ba with 2200 sqft of garage space with heated floors. Projector and wet bar going in the basement right now.
They paid for everything for the interview. I am guessing this is because they found me and would have been different if I found them. Flights to orlando are only $134 if you make them 2 weeks ahead.
Once we get a house we will have extra room, so if anyone needs a spot to stay if they want to visit Florida, let me know! And yeah, hit me up sometime Brian! Maybe meet up at Daytona or something too (only an hour from me).
And yes, I do have a built 4g64 for sale. Rings seized while sitting in the shop so it will need to be honed and re-ringed.
