Re: Project Corvette
Looks great! Have you thought about any of the rear spoiler options? I saw a couple of nice ones at CnC.

Re: Project Corvette
Man, I don't know how you get around after lowering these. Even at stock ride height, mine scrapes out of the driveway. I think I'll be keeping it stock after all.

Depends what's scraping. The rubber air dams are designed hit/flex; they hang so low for aero. As long as it's only the rubber hitting and not metal or plastic, you're good to go. My rubber dams scrape my driveway and speed bumps, but nothing else if I'm being careful and taking steep approaches at an angle (I'm fully lowered on stock bolts).

Re: Project Corvette
Yea I dont have those oem air dams on, those are intended to flex and scrape, as Kracka said. Im sure thats all thats scraping on yours. Im not totally lowered, but the new front lip will scrape easily if im not careful. My driveway sucks so i have to put down a couple 2x4s currently to get up and down lol. That stancelife.

Re: Project Corvette
Yes, it's the factory air dam that's scraping, not the bumper. Painting that tomorrow anyways.

Re: Project Corvette
Nothing to worry about then. The Volt and Cruze Eco also have rubber dams that pretty much scrape everything even at stock ride height, but it does no damage.

Re: Project Corvette
Put away the vette for the year last night. Its been a fun summer cruising around in this thing.
I have a couple things I want to do next spring, including a different BOV, probably a Tial QR. The bosch I have on there is known to be crappy and leak, plus its silent now, so more bov noises! Need to replace the sway bar endlinks, as I believe they are making noise on bumps/turns. Might inspect and change out the plugs again, belt, and give it a full detail. Didnt get around to detailing it all this summer, was clean enough so just drove it. Also looking into a spoiler for the rear, found a couple I like, probably the Zr1 style.

Re: Project Corvette
Storing it at home? At least you have a few little projects to wrench on over the winter.

Re: Project Corvette
Yeah, I'll have to put mine away pretty soon, kinda sad. It's been a lot of fun the last few months though, can't wait for next spring.
