Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
Still have them laying around? I wouldn't mind trying them out on her car. She has Eibach Prokit lowering springs so her suspension is a bit stiffened up.

Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
Redline GL-5 75W-90 in the rear diff and Redline GL-5 75W-90NS in the transmission as of this morning I would have preferred Mobil 1 GL-5 75W-90 in the rear diff, but the parts store I went to before heading to MAP for the Redline didn't have any in-stock.

Today I got two gauges from Christopher! I got a boost and a voltage gauge. We're going to pick up a pillar gauge pod from MAP soon and get them installed!

Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
I think this should be your next mod:
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...%3Den%26um%3D1
And then maybe some of the longer exhaust hangers also, cause if I can remember your muffler was touching your bumper and after the exhaust shield it may need some extra clearance.

Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
LOL yes yes I know! But what about the end links and new brakes I have waiting to be installed? Or how about getting my gauge pod in properly. I now have wires poking out of nowhere...
In due time. I figure the icky black smudge can't get much worse at this point anyway! =)

Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
What makes them magic? Do they not fade? Do they add HP? Do they produce 1.21 Jiggawatts and send you back to 1985?

Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
Better initial bite, less dust, and less noise compared to stock pads. Girodisc decided they're so amazing they named them Magics. Nice looking pads though, they came with new shims and everything.

Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
aahhhh, I haven't done them but endlinks look like about a 20 minute job and it can't take chris more than an hour or so for brakes...

Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
The front and rear end-links shouldn't take more than an hour combined and I'm sure the brakes will take 1-2 hours including a fluid flush with some ATE Super Blue. Add in some dinking around with the gauge pod and we're looking at a fun & easy 4 hour day

Re: Janelle's WRX Mods
We installed Girodisc Magic brake pads, ATE Super Blue brake fluid, and Perrin rear swaybar end-links tonight! Thanks to Scheides and Anna for their assistance. Delicious pizza, cold Mt Dew, and good times as usual
