Yeha, but mine has been sitting for 7 years, all kinds of nice leaks and noises are showing themselves with each trip.

I'm thinking mine will be done by then, but I'd be bringing the boy, so we'd just stay at my parents since they don't allow kids in the shithole you all are talking about.

For people without a Room! Comfort Inn is within walking distance our the hotel everyone else will be staying at, and still has rooms for 179 when I just checked.

Has dinner for Saturday been decided? If not, I would like Fitger's brewpub.

Re: Fall Cruise - October 16-17th, 2010!
I am sure this has been answered, and I am pretty sure it's yes...but E85 friendly drive correct?
The X gets awful gas mileage even on pump and on E85 spirited driving I am lucky to get 13-14mpg's.
So that means I am looking at like 150 miles out of a tank, lol. I might want to bring a 5 gallon can in case i am thinking.

The longest leg of the cruise with no E85 along the way is 160 miles. You should be fine.
If you cant get 200 miles out of a tank, you are doing it wrong.

Barely and only if driving conservatively. I get nervous at 180 and if I boost at all then no way. I always carry a 5gal can though. Carried 10 on the MOD trip.
My new surge tank will add 2.5ltrs. Bonus!

It's always an E85 friendly drive.

Re: Fall Cruise - October 16-17th, 2010!
Cruise routes are always planned taking E85 stops into account.

Just wanted to make doubly sure Like I said the X is a gas hog...the new setup will be even worse I'd imagine. Good news though.

Well, making good progress on the GSX, so this looks like a go. I'll just be doing the cruise up for the day and then hanging with family Saturday night and Sunday, but it should be fun.
