The stock Evo X tank is bad news on a road course. I haven't talked to anyone into road course that hasn't experienced fuel starvation in turns. Locally Evoatcha is an instructor at BIR and he keeps his tank above 1/2 at all times since he doesn't have a surge tank. At 5mpg that is a lot of work.
Yeah Aaron, it's surprising that nobody has come up with a less expensive solution. Drag (acceleration) and 1g turns/braking have the same effect.

We should probably get this discussion into your thread, but I'd like to study the tank a bit and try to brainstorm a better/simpler solution then what's out there now.
Let's see him take some turns at BIR with less than 1/2 tank. No, you can't drive like a pansy. lol.
Just put some gas in that bitch and drive...unless you burn half a tank in 1 run.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.
Dyno vid today...dynojet numbers...confirming that the estimates were pretty damn close. I didn't run my power tune until the second run (tried the DD tune first), so I probably would've been another 5whp or so closer to my original shootout guess of 583, still 570 is pretty damn good i think.
^As I told swifty in person, no chicks worth mentioning, there has been some but I have made better choices before, lol.
On the topic of my car...still running awesome...the new magnus clutch master cylinder needs a bleed I think, it dropped to the floor today and I got worried but it popped back up with some help.
Also as I was out sick again today...I had a chance to drive around to get my damn TPMS light fixed...Discount tire still 5 months later can't program them so they paid for the dealer to do it, only $60. Regardless, I now have a dash with no lights! Woo.
I bet it's because you know how badly your downpipe and exhaust manifold are holding you back. Man...you should just sell those ASAP so you can turn that frown upside-down
