Just street tune the Fiero the best you can, then throw it on the rollers!

Re: MitsuStyle Spring 2009 Dyno Day!
Haven't decided if it will be Talon or Evo or none as of yet. My Evo will make 320, 345, or 375 its always different.
Talon I haven't dynoed since Elite, lol.

What clutch are you running in plastic fantastic? I have tried five different ones and the spec puck sprung stage three worked the best by far. Then again that was damn near 10 years ago.
I also couldn't tune carbs worth a damn, so I had a holly 750 for drag racing and an edelbrock 650 that worked well for mpg but not as good at WOT like the holly. I could swap the carbs over in 5 minutes or less. lol
I keep throwing fiero parts out, maybe I should just give them to you! It would be nice to see that thing at the dyno day.

I am running a act ceramic 6 puck that spose to be good for around 400hp. As for the parts if your tossing them ill take them from you really need a gauge cluster if you have one.

Re: MitsuStyle Spring 2009 Dyno Day!
Unfortunately, I may not be able to bring my DSM, we put in the new transmission this weekend and it will only shift into 1st and 2nd, I am in the process of figuring out the problem right now as this was a fully funtional working tansmission before it was in my car. I will for sure be bringing the WRX down though!

Re: MitsuStyle Spring 2009 Dyno Day!
Goodhart mess with the cable adjustment under the shifter, I was in the same boat until i messed with it, quite simple actually and it was the first tranny out of 4 that needed changing.

We (Myself and 95tsi) messed with the under the shifter linkage, we were able to get more side-to-side play and found fifth, but still couldn't get reverse. We tried two different reverse safety switches, and messed with the under hood linkage, but still no reverse. When we finally pushed it back into the garage, we heard some not so good noises, I'm hoping the transfer case isn't junk.
If I have much more trouble with it, I'll just start a different thread.

Re: MitsuStyle Spring 2009 Dyno Day!
Is a large intake pipe in the way of the shifter levers on the transmission? I had this happen with one once and the car wouldn't go into reverse until I "clearanced" the intake pipe.

Re: MitsuStyle Spring 2009 Dyno Day!
Thanks everybody, I'm pretty sure there wasn't anything in the way,but I'll have to look more into it this weekend possibly, as the car is at my parents house like 50 miles away.
