Love to see the GheyRay hit the track and rip some times. Looks like a ton of fun!

Re: Meet GheyRay: Lower, Wider, Lighter!
Fun features I found in the navigation system last night:
-gas prices
-E85 stations
-movie times/listings
The E85 station finder will be great for leading cruises!

Re: Meet GheyRay: Lower, Wider, Lighter!
Long story short, been shopping for a used C6 with my dad for a while and we finally found the one that met all his criteria up near Tulsa, OK at some little podunk dirt/grass lot dealership! VIN checks out clean with both CarFax & AutoCheck; 2-owner car.
2006 Corvette convertible
Z51 package
3LT interior trim w/navi
6-speed automatic transmission
44k miles on it
The plan is for me to get the maintenance up to date over the next week or so, then he's flying down and we're driving it up to MN (I'll then fly back to TX).
Stopped for a little BBQ buffet on the way back

Very clean and smooth lines, the C6 is a good looking sports car with classic Corvette styling. The interior is basic, but laid out well with all the information you need available. This one actually has a few things mine doesn't such as heated seats, heads-up display, and Homelink.

Re: Meet GheyRay: Lower, Wider, Lighter!
Your c7 doesn't have the HUD? Huh, figured that would've been standard on c7's. They had that on c5z's and my dads base c6 has it too.

Your dad's "base" convertible isn't really base; C6 convertibles are 2LT or higher. With the C7 you need 2LT or higher to get the HUD & heated seats...neat features, but not worth the $4500 package price to me.

True, when I say base i mean not z06 lol.
Yea, i think his c6 is a bit more on the loaded side.
I guess i would agree, not worth 4500 to me either.

Gotcha
It's kinda funny, the original MSRP on this convertible is higher than my car! Really shows how little Chevrolet has increased the prices from one generation to the next. With the recent price jump they did in March mine would now be more expensive, but luckily I got in before ($2000 base increase, $3200 Z51 increase, effective 3/3/14).
