Got my gear display and Forced Four Color Shiftbox installed tonight, pain in the ass dealing with those tiny wires but well worth it.

I think I'm going to dump my TCU as well, so if anyone wants an Eprom TCU that has a tune on it PM me.

The RPM signal on it is messing up, but I will tackle it tomorrow and just leave the box in manual mode for now.

Yes, once the rpm signal issue is fixed I'll be able to set upshifts at a set rpm.

So my phone died so no pics, but I was contacted by Shawn@ForcedFour.com while he was on vacation and he said to install a 10k resistor inline to clean up the signal from the ECU to the shiftbox.

Tomorrow I hope to install the resistor and get the car ready for PG.
I also picked up an HX40 with BEP .55 A/R mitsu housing that I will swap in after PG. (Thanks Chim55?)
Hopefully I'll get my cams and stuff in before the snow flies too.

I washed the car friday and it still looks cleanish after being rained on and left at the bar overnight.

No sir, Like I said I'll track it at PG one last time, then I'm going to throw in all the parts and make it a frum roll machine for the rest of the year.

Although on paper I might be able to stall the HX40.

8/28/14: Shift box color installed & gear display


However, there was an issue with the shiftbox not reading RPM correctly, Shawn (of ForcedFour.com) on vacation replied to me and told me to get a 10K resistor and that should fix my issues, which it did.

I was already liking it in broken mode, but having this thing able to automatically make my shifts for me is awesome.

9/1/14: Picked this up for a good deal and it was on my list of turbos to run possibly.


I like this turbo because as it sits I can run it with the mitsu housing and then when I get time/money/whatever I can get a T4 TS housing and go that way with the old DNP T4 that I have.

9/2/14:
So I came to the realization that even if I throw more boost at the car, it still won't net my goal of 10.99, but cams would. The Kelford "272s" that I have would. But not without nitrous.


So that should be here friday and Mr. Hill has been very kind as to lend me a valve spring compressor tool for a good price.
We will see what happens.
