Re: The Great Autocross Mega Thread!
Thank for letting me take it for a spin. I left early cause my car said it was done time. I think my front axles are dead and causing odd vibration when turning left. Must be the anti-NASCAR mod.

Re: The Great Autocross Mega Thread!
Congrats to Kracka for winning SI in only his third competition! On to SM for you. He beat an instructor in the process as well.
Andres looked odd driving something other than an Evo.
One more event for the year, MOWOG 9 at Midway Stadium on October 19th.

Re: The Great Autocross Mega Thread!
Good job Chris! If you look at the results you would have been 3rd in SM. (or 4th if I was in there as well)

You stay in the street tire index class! I think to truly be competitive in the SM class though I would need coilovers and some R-compounds (neither of which I have plans for).

Next year I will not be in the the tire index. My car isn't quite up to the PAX factor it has. I may or may not have sticky tires. But since I'm thinking about it already...

Re: The Great Autocross Mega Thread!
Dudes, run in SM on street tires. The street tire class sucks if you aren't in a stock-classed car as Adam Barber, Salah and the Miatas prove time and time again. I'm doing quite well in BSP all things considered and I haven't ever thought once about adding a T to my BSP.
Do it for fun, and if by chance you are competitive then so be it.

I just plan on competing against Chris. I plan on losing often, but that's what makes it fun.

Do it already! You went to the novice school, you have the building blocks to learn to drive your car better. Chris has two events and the test and tune under his belt, where the hell have you been???

Re: The Great Autocross Mega Thread!
Quit being lazy, Zac. Get your ass out to events and help rep MitsuStyle with us!
We've lost Andres and we're losing Deutsch, so we need more Evos!
We also need more DSMs, but that's a different ball game entirely...

I call "not it" on pushing the broken ones off the course!
I definatly shouldn't have gone for T-SM. But it is what it is. After I figured that out, my only goal has been fastest raw time in the class, something I know my car is capable of, I just need to get myself to that level on a consistent baisis. I have done it once or twice, and showed myself durring fun runs that I could have done it a time or two more. Next year I guess.
But in the end, I still judge my weekends by how I feel I did, as much as how the time sheets say I did.
