A lot Cobb keeps pushing me towards Kelford-B cams, but I keep pushing back fighting to keep my stock-like smoothness and drivability.
I'll have standard 3" compressor cover results on Saturday, December 22nd.

Depends on the results on the X, but if it's a solid performer and sells well, then yes.

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!
Here are my latest results, these are with the standard 3" compressor cover rather than the 3" anti-surge cover. This seems to be the winning setup if you ask me; 200 RPM quicker spool, better response, more torque, nearly identical horsepower, and of course one less option to pay for
Driving impressions are great! No surge issues could be felt and it drove very nicely. Initial impressions are it drives just as smooth as the anti-surge version, but give me another few days to truly experience the turbo in more scenarios. Oddly enough, turbo intake noise is slightly more with the standard cover than with the anti-surge version.
My final verdict: Standard cover is the way to order this turbo. Save yourself a few bucks and enjoy the quicker spool/response times!

Badass! I was second-guessing this wheel combo but it looks pretty pimp now!

Looks like good results with the std cover. Nice power on 93 too.

More power under almost the entire curve too! Nice!
It would be nice to see an over lay of the standard cover EF2.5 vs the EF2 once they get the database updated.

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!
EF2 vs EF 2.5 standard cover:
Not sure which I like better, the extra low end grunt of the EF2 or the higher peak and top end of the EF2.5.

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!
I'd still take the 2. On a more basic setup, aka no porting, I might go for the 2.5 but his setup is efficient so 2 all the way

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!
The ef2 is nice and flat. I would rock the ef2 if I owned a evo. That car makes alot of power on pump gas with the mods that are done to it. Surprised you havent had any problems with the car. Unlike everybody up here
