Also i remember when scheides would post for himself and give me a good ribbing, its all in good fun.

Also my doesn't run right now by choice everything is sitting here, turbo, oil lines the whole shabang. Some things are just more important, plus i am really lazy.

Haha! Now the fire starts, we should have been right here a week ago! I gotta do whatever I can to get some competition into y'all's veins, otherwise it's just a bunch of talky talky(think adam sandler ).

Was that last spring aaron? My car was making about 310whp then, and I've hardly done anything powerwise to it since then. Your argument works perfectly, that's all my car is, fun. It is also reliable, and I drive it *every* day 50+ miles to and from work. Your argument of $3k vs $20k is almost irrelivant when you look at it like I do, when I mow down $80k+ Porsches and Audis.

I did the math when I had my 2G, and I was putting more money into it in mods and maintenance than I now have put into my Evo on a monthly basis. Add in the fact that I hardly have to touch the car for it to stay reliable has made me love it even more. The money....its just money....after all, I'm loaded, right? I mean I OWN this site, think of all the revenue I get off of these cruises and whatnot!

Now, enough banter, the real shit talking begins tomorrow morning at 9am!

It is possible to have a reliable 1g or 2g that makes power, lot of us who have them and daily drive them all summer long.

I used to drive my old DSM all winter / all summer.

I just got tired of having to wash it once a week to keep the salt off my baby.

See I plan on owning my 1g for a long time, I can't just sell it for a new car that is rust free with basically no miles every few years.

My car is just as reliable as any I've had before, even though there's not much about the motor that's still stock. And yeah, more testing and comparing is definatly in order Scheides! If I had been in second when we started out, I don't think you would have pulled on me so soon I'm not gonna be able to sleep much tonight! Too excited for tomorrow!

Glad you see it how i do scheides. I love shit talking, but i like to lose against cars that i should do. But its way more fun to beat cars that you shouldn't.

Sorry for my irrelevant banter. You all know how reliable my car is, all last year i drove it, did 2000 miles in one weekend when i went to cedar falls, raced, came back, then went up north on saturday when i got up, then cruised around there.

DSM can be reliable everyday just like any other car you just have to know what you are doing. Look at kevin.

Plus reliability is easier in a car 5 years old than a car 17 years old, that is just common sense and why people buy newer cars.

Either way our cars rock and i would take an evo anyday its an updated 4 dr DSM so why not.

You guys have lots of fun and lots of video of the action on the cruise tomorrow the weather looks good, i will be putting the car together, tuning, buying furniture, and doing homework.

As Chuckee_R called them earlier over AIM, "handraisers!" Which is true, and exactly why Scheides implemented the 1-week-ban rule so we can actually get a fairly accurate attendance list. If people can't come then so be it, I just wish they would let me know earlier so I can make plans and arrangements accordingly. Now its possible that we could have done the brewery tour, but I didn't expect more than half the people to back out. Oh well, at least I made a fairly accurate guess with our lunch reservations

I'm so excited I can't sleep; this weekend will be so fun!
