Re: Why do you own a DSM?
I need something to dump money into so when I'm always broke, I can physically see where all my money sits.

Re: Why do you own a DSM?
Because it’s the first thing with a turbo that I liked that I could afford and I’m a mechanic anyway.
The car fell in to my hands free, I found out how much online support there was and how much you could do to make it faster for cheap and fell in love.

Think about it, if you beat the PISS out of a Honda, it would break. You mod a car, it will break. Plan and simple.

Honda in a stock form is impossible to break. That is why they are called torqueless wonders. No stress on any of the moving part. The only thing that get stressed is the driver because he can not pass a big SUV when needed.

Can't complain about that-----unless you break something in the process.

Re: Why do you own a DSM?
I got a DSM for the AWD w/turbo- also because the price was right!
I do like the 3/S but they are more of a Touring Sunday driver.

it looks great, but the true reason any of us buy these cars is the Pure Potential of these cars are amazing.
my question to you is "Why the fuck did I buy an Automatic? "

I think a better quote would be:
"Once you go Dissum, you'll never miss 'em"

Re: Why do you own a DSM?
Because Speedwerks owner Devin Pearce told me I should buy one. at the time I was looking to get ride of my 1998 Chrysler sebring LXI after loosing to a minivan with 6 kids in it, as well as my fathers 35' RV out pulled it from a stop light. I wanted something faster that was easily modded, and would be good for the Show scene (at the time I was into Car audio/Show) Devin said buy a turbo eclipse we can do anything to it.
If I could start all over again I would probably go with a Supra.. Sorry guys but it's the honest truth. Hopefully still would have met all of you guys But in reality with the amount of money I've put into my eclipse over the years with repairs, upgrades, etc I honestly could have had a 1000HP Supra.

I don't know about that it just depends on how long you have been married. In my case launching is always better than sex. Just joking
