But if anyone from another branch decides they want to move into the Marines. It doesn't matter how high of rank they had, they will lose their rank and go back to the bottom of the gene pool and become "Recruit" once again, and go through all Marine boot camp just like any other marine has to. The title marine isn't given away, it's earned, no way around it.
So would this be true of a Army Ranger "retiring" to the Marines?

If an Army Ranger decided he wanted to leave the Army, and go into the Marines, then he would have to go through our boot camp. I don't see why he'd do that because more then likely, he'd lose just about all his rank. He might come out of bootcamp an E3 at the most.
