Well Jenny and I are for sure going - but have to fix a few things first if I'm going to race.

I know I have so much to do and honestly some of it I don't think I'm going to be able to accomplish.
-I want to fix the leak from my oil return line but I need to have my oil pan welded so that I can retap the holes. (don't know how I'm going to get that done)
-Feed line is easier - It's just a matter of taking the whole turbo apart/off the car however last time I tried to take the 8mm bolts off the turbo they wouldn't budge.
-Transfer case is going to be an issue to do time frame. Especially since this is my Daily Driver and has to be up and running for the next days work.
-My door handle - I'll have to rig something up so that it'll pass Teck.

When shall we do this? Maybe we could tackel the return tube as well? If there's time of coarse.

So whos in for meeting at Champs in Woodbury around 6:30am? For those of you who don't know, its right off 94 on the way down to Rock Falls. Good spot to meet and caravan down there. I will be there, and I am sure Jet and Andy will join if they are going. So how about a head count just so we know who to wait for and who not to wait for. We usually leave Champs at around 7:00am or a little earlier.

Joe you are never going to be able to get up that early unless you spend the night at our house. And you know this. You will get up late, then get lost, maybe break down, then show up around noon. Kidding.

Jenny, and I will be there at 6:30 - We are also bringing 2 friends from Xrated.
Randy - 4 door accord (his first time to the tracks - 224whp)
and 1 other guy. (think Randy said his name was Andy?)
They are meeting me at my house at 6am and we are caravaning up there together.

Just got home, was a pretty good day down there. I ran a best of 14.2@100.92 on pump gas at 15lbs of boost in the FWD Laser with a boost controller and exhaust for main mods. I was just fooling around with the $1500 beater, lol. The track was decent at first, I was pulling average 2.4 60', but then as the day went on the track got pretty greasy atleast for me. I will let others post up there results.
I had one good laugh though at the track, I had just gotten back from a run and was getting a pop and this Honda Or Acura, not sure what it was, but anyway he came down in our group and was from xrated. He pulls in and was all happy that he pulled a 14.2. He asked what I ran and I told him the same, he asked what I had done. I told him its basically stock with a MBC and exhaust and that I got the car for $1500. He was like WTF. I have a full motor swap and a ZEX 75? shot. All mods totalling around $20000. I had to laugh a little. His car was a really nice looking car though, but the money that he had in that motor to run 14s....ehhh I just don't know.

:censored: 13.39 @ 106.99, while missing third gear and 14.876 @ 79.13, once again destroying third gear and giving up after the eigth mile due to my boost gauge reference line blowing out(again) at that time. I wasn't sure if was running 30psi again like the last time I had no boost gauge. :uh:
If I had had a helmet I would have gotten more runs in and probably been able to actually break a twelve and use third gear. Oh well, I did get to light up the tires halfway through second. Go Slippery Falls!

Nash seemed to be having problems with one thing or another all day. I don't know if he got any decent full runs in.
Mo had tranny problems and couldn't hit 3rd on any pass and later 2nd starting going. He ran a few 11.5s, he trapped 129mph a few times. On his last pass in the eliminations though, for some reason his boost shot up in 3rd and 4th gear and blew the headgasket. On all the previous runs the boost was running a stable 29-30psi.
Shaun has fouled plugs on his first run and spent a couple hours driving around Wisconsin trying to find some replacements. He ran a couple 130-131 mph passes, his best ET was a 11.9. The track was pretty poor after the very first runs in the morning.
I don't know what Matt ran, I think I saw a low 13 once.
That nitrous Honda problably could have ran a second quicker if he had some decent wheels/tires. 18"+ wheels with absolutely no sidewall don't work the best.

Randy (4 door accord) is from Xrated and Tony (SRT4) were the guys I was supposed to come up there with. Randy was running just as fast as I was with my S20G in my FWD and almost as fast as Andy with his 18G'd GS-T, and As fast as Enes with his T28 & Slicks. IMO he did well for his first time ever at the track. for a 4 door car.
And Jet didn't make it there, or at least with his car. Nor did I. My car is still up at his place on Jack stands.
