Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
What about the interior rules?
Those seen to be left out, you can't try to shape classes to represent street cars then have idiots pulling out seats and carpet at the track.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
I like the 58mm and smaller class, give the smaller turbo guys a chance. I see plenty of 62mm cars that make the same or more power than 67mm cars, but it more comes down to the rest of the setup.
I dunno if some of the auto guys might need nitrous to just get off the line though in the single power adder classes.
I like sportsman tree, nobody that runs this event is a "Pro".

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
I think pro tree is extremely stupid, this is harsh but like I said 90% of the people last year had no clue how to even stage and now you are going to throw the pro tree?
That is gonna suck, I personally hate pro tree and to be honest don't know anyone that really likes it.
Correction, only person that thinks its a good idea is nate.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
I am liking the classes so far. Breaking up stock appearing works well as that is all the rage lately and I am guessing there will be a lot of people in both of those.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
Question to turbo sizing. You list 1 turbo, what about twin turbo vehicles?

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
Valid point, I think we've got them covered in the stock appearing classes, the others will have to be handled on a case by case basis.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
600cc class, 750cc on up class stock swingarm length and stock height. Then a open class any size bike can run nitrous, turbo and supercharger.

I'll be running the N/A class and maybe the 58mm and smaller class if it will run in the low 11's or high 10's.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
Revised RS/U to 62mm and removed any limitation in KS/U by request on the Honda forum. Looking like Mark, John, and our Evo will be competing in this class now and Outlaw / Quick 16 will be mostly vacant again.

I think it will come down to what car can make down to the finish line. My car has had 8 passes in one day, the most ever, typical is 2-3 before something goes haywire... Good call keeping the 62mm class real.

Re: Input wanted on Proving Grounds classes
That is dumb, you just cancelled the outlaw/quick 16 class.
After asking around the 58mm on the real street was a good deal and same with the 67mm on the King street.
Maybe setup a poll on all the forums you guys are on, to see where you can fill most of the classes the best.
There was only 1 guy on the honda forums that had a 58mm that wanted to run against the 62mm guys and to be honest, he is free to run in any class he wants.
If he is as fast as the King street guys there is nothing holding him or anyone back from moving "up" a class.
Also on the payout subject, it is the only way to get people to come from a long way away to compete. I understand funding is rough being this far out though.
