You're right, most of us on this site do own NSX's and supras as second and third cars but hey why not right?!?! It's only money! Winter is when mid-engined RWD cars are the most fun!

Aaron:

I have a 1993 Honda Civic CX Hatchback. It has over 300,000 miles on it, very rusty, rolls on some 13" snow tires ($50 each!). Wonderful car. I highly reccommend something like that, I get upper 30's MPG. Extremely reliable, low/cheap maintenance.

Rock the ranger. I won't be bad once you get used to driving it on snow. Good truck snow tires and a couple of sand bags for traction.
