Re: If you can start a new project car, what would it be?
If I ever finnish the 4 I have
I just need to stop finding things to do to the evo and paint it then it will be done
The hatch is going awd this summer and getting painted
Put a ton of money in to the 51 and get it finnished
Start working on the spyder some day.
If I get them all done. I was told I have to sell a car to get a new project car so the talon will just have to go then
I will be building next will be a lhd edm spec tommi mac ed evo 6.5
The one project I can get away with doing right now is to build a bobber. Just have to fine the right bike to do it to and it will not be a jap bike

Wow, I'm suprise no one has love for the MKIV Supra's. That's definitely my dream car that is achievable.

Re: If you can start a new project car, what would it be?
I just started my new project. '95 240sx KA-T. For now... Eventually it'll get an RB25 with a ginormous snail hanging off the side after the KA blows, S15 helical LSD, R33 or Z32tt brakes, 245's in the front, ~275's in the back. It already has Stance coilovers so that part is already taken care of. After that, I'm not sure what I'd do with it.

Re: If you can start a new project car, what would it be?
Why do you guys love RB motors so much? Just because we don't normally get them here? Especially in a Mustang, why downgrade to a puny 2.6l. Ford even makes an inline 6 turbo motor that they put in cars in Austrailia, if you really want in inline 6. Nissan motors aren't the greatest things ever and it can be a bitch to get gaskets and basic stuff for a motor that isn't sold here.

^Its mad tight jdm y0!
I'd like to take my setup, plus a built motor and throw it into a full weight auto 1g. Or cheat and throw in a v8 in an older rx7 and throw some boost at it.

The mustang swap wouldn't be first on the list, lol. Rb's just have an appeal to most, including me. Missed the part about it being a 3.0l too. If money wasn't a problem, I'd fart around with some rb's.
What's this i6 turbo that ford makes that you were talking about...?
Turbo+ busa motor+ smart car+ bomb rollcage= sounds fun. Also sounds like I'd flip it over 10 times lol.

Re: If you can start a new project car, what would it be?
I would like to take my 300 put the 440 stroker kit in it and put a pair of turbo's on it to make 7-800 hp but that's a dream. I would really like to rebuild an old challenger or cuda either 70 or 71 and put a new tt hemi in it.

Re: If you can start a new project car, what would it be?
^^ Hahaha. Another idea I've been kicking around is a wideblock 4g64 in the 240 with an FC turbo II trans.

I would build a dragster. Sunny mountain motor with 932 cubic inchs and then turbo it.

It's in the Ford Falcon, not sure what else. I think the current models have a 4.0l inline 6 with a Garrett 35/40R turbo on them.

Re: If you can start a new project car, what would it be?
Rachaels dad has a mint '37 Chevy Truck in his barn that i drool over every time I see it. Though of all kinds of different swaps for that car... anything from a 4g63 Evo IX crate motor.... to a built V8 with a turbo.... We'll see ... someday.. .would like to get it running and out of the barn on its current I6 first!
I also would really like a GT-R... but ... gonna need a significant raise before that happens lol!

Or how about an easier to find normal 4G63/4 narrow block, and a t56? Bill Hincker makes the bellhousing adapter and accessories. My friend has one in his possession that is going into a really, really cool car.
I even contemplated that for my 240sx!

1) Cobra kit car, 5.4 Aluminator, pair of turbos.
2) 1980 Chevy Monza Spyder, LS2, Corvette suspension & IRS
3) 1995 NSX, wheels and tires, modernize a few things
4) Ariel Atom, 4B11 EVO X motor
5) 1973 Corvette big block, stock looking but with suspension upgrades, wider Rally wheels, cam, heads, exhaust

That would be a pretty cool swap too. I'd still wanna go for the 2.4 though. just cuz it came with a 2.4, haha
