Was this your decision or BIR's? I've never heard of a full-face helmet being required for auto-x before. MAC requires a SNELL2005 (M or SA) rated helmet and SCCA I believe requires a SNELL2005 SA helmet; these ratings include open-faced designs (which is what a lot of us have purchased for auto-x use).

SSCA SOLO II actually only requires a SNELL M rating.

Doesn't sound like much of a story. I, and many others, have raced our imports at BIR whether its the road course or drag strip.

We're in the same boat, we ran there 2-3 times last year without issue? The only thing I can think of is the classes as most of their events are domestic focused which is exactly why this event is taking place

ok, cause people around here are retarted and tried telling me that people like to set imports on fire if they run on BIR. kinda stupid but i just wanted to check.
