Re: 4g!

That would give me enough time to get anything else done that might change the appearance of my car.

As far as the ecuflash thing goes, i'm willing to try. It's gonna be pretty spendy to do the AEM thing.

Re: 4g!

Here is one I took of your car at the cook out. You cant ignore this car. It looks awesome! Nice work. Can't wait to hear how the mods go as things progress.

This must be before the light swaps?

Re: 4g!

Indeed! Thanks for the comments.

At the cookout, I think all I had done was tint, coilovers, and the rims. Basically as seen in the pic, haha.

Re: 4g!

It's weird I never noticed the side mirrors are 1/3 from the front of the door, and I never noticed the divider in the side windows either.

Looks good, I'm starting to like the 4g more and more.

Re: 4g!

I always thought your headlights were stock, other than the halos, and eyelids.
Off topic: I'm liking the idea of a MitsuStyle photo shoot/callendar! Gives me motivation to paint my car.

Re: 4g!

Yeah, thats another reason I like the headlights and taillights, they look like they could be stock, which to me means they aren't ricey or out of place or however you want to describe it. And I think Matt D when I first met some of you guys said it best when he said he was shocked at how much the eyelids change the look of the front end, cause they really do.

At this point I think i'm pretty content with the appearance of the car, there is still the want for a wing lingering in the back of my head, but with all my uncertainty I doubt i'll ever do it.

Thanks again for all the comments and 4G love. It seems to not have much of a good reputation yet so i'm doing my best to try and show people otherwise.

Re: 4g!

Scratch the before feb comment and maybe i'll shoot for before spring/summer.

I'm starting to look into buying something small closer to downtown... so i'm going to be saving more and more, but the tower bar and progress sway bar are still for sures... might need to bargain shop on the brembos. But I have most of my other mods covered so... aside from some minor exhaust piping things and maybe the tune (expensive, blah) I am close to my goal.

Anywho...

Re: 4g!

For those that read my RIPP supercharger thread for the 4G... RIPP is really stepping up and making their presence known on the 4G forums now... I think they previously had been busy working on the stage 2 adjustments and thats why I didn't see them around all that often, but they are taking harsh criticisms and turning them around and explaining everything flat out and answering any and all questions about the system.

To be honest they are really building a lot of confidence in their product, which in turn gives me confidence in it, which then in turn makes me really want to put one on.

We'll see...

Hughes helped me find some brembos also... so I might jump on those after I get a hold of the guy selling them.

Cool, i'll keep that in mind if/when I talk to this guy from EvoM. If that falls through i'll just start surfing ebay.

I don't know why one would want to. It would screw up the lines of the rear end.

Re: 4g!

Yeah me either, heh.

So... head unit is in. It's fucking AMAZING. I was honestly kind of regretting this decision a bit until I was on my way to work this morning... wow. I'm in love. I got the thing deeply discounted (like 40% of crutchfields listed price) and even still I was worried about how much I was spending, but it's so worth it over the stock unit.

One semi major problem though is my amp wont turn on with the after market unit, so I can't power my sub right now. But my sound system is still amazingly good, actually better than stock minus the big bass kick.

Just gotta sign up for xm radio / traffic and i'm ballin. Pics soon.
