Re: Well I converted
You should def. look into a 2003 Evolution or the subaru WRX,They have come down some in price and at least then you can rock the AWD and keep the turbo!

Re: Well I converted
Search the lots for a brand new leftover '06. Chances are you can get it cheaper than they are going for used, plus you'll get the full warranty and a lower loan rate.
Use www.edmunds.com to get quotes from all nearby dealerships; its the best way to start shopping for a new car IMO because then you can pit them against each other and really bargain them down in price.

Re: Well I converted
side note on the Subaru thing. I've heard they are not as reliable as the steadfast Toyota or Honduh. and that they aquire some odd problems later in life

Re: Well I converted
They are not as reliable or as well built as Hondas or Toyotas, they are cheaper for comparable models. If you buy new or practically new with a warranty though I see no reason to worry. Subaru's seem to hold their value pretty well.

Re: Well I converted
Fuck Toyota? Please tell me you're not serious... First of all do you know who makes Mazda's? If you want a long lasting cool looking car go with the TC.

Re: Well I converted
Mazda makes Mazda's in a joint venture. If you are looking at a Tc, I would look into a Spec V too. I do agree on the Speed6 though, it is a great bang for the buck.

Re: Well I converted
Oh, and the Mazdaspeed is 100% Japan built and shipped over here. Ford does not have their normal part in the Mazdaspeed6.

Re: Well I converted
Not to be hating on the Speed6, but why not look into a speed3? 14.8 second 1/4 and a 0-60 i belive in 5.8 seconds? Been a day since i read the magazine, so my mind is sliping. But i'm looking into either a WRX or a Speed3 in the months to come, the speed3's should be available at mazda dealerships by now. But i havn't checked to look.
Fully decked out with navigation package and all the toys... $24,800.

Re: Well I converted
the 3 is FWD and the 6 is AWD. That was enough to make me not wait for the 3 to come out.

Re: Well I converted
I've read 2 mag articles that stated the 3 made more then the 6 i thought. Either way, at 3100 lbs and a FWD LSD i know it's faster then the piece of shit Ford i drive. And more reliable then the DSM.
