Re: DSMStyle Exclusive Review: TCUgo
Yeah im sure its really not the best to have it at stage 5 all the time, but thats why its so easy to switch it. And when your in the stage 0 1 and 2 its smooth shifts. Much more smoother then stock. When you get in the stage 3,4 and 5 its more Jerky almost like your speed shifting a manual. and if your really worried about the life of your tranny but still wanna race. Only switch it on for races but for daily driving have it off. all it is is a button on the unit itself.
Today at lunch i did a quick pull down this back road by my work, I just cant get over how crazy this is. The shifts are just so nice and fun.
He updated his site with some of the customer cars that use it. Couple really nice Times.

Re: DSMStyle Exclusive Review: TCUgo
Once people start hearing about the Auto DSM that went mid-low 10's on a stock block/stock auto (restalled, TCugo, cooler) with only 550 whp, autos will become more popular. 1.4 60' times rule.

Re: DSMStyle Exclusive Review: TCUgo
Just ordered my TCUGO unit today, as one just became available fresh off from "Hugos assembly line".
LSE should get a chance to check it out when they crack open the tranny next month.
Expect another full TCUGO review, but then on a built up tranny with a IPT Stall converter.

congrats. im sure you will enjoy it as i still am. What sucks is turning the damn thing off, well not turning it off, thats pretty simple, what sucks is realising just how slow the stock TCU is. soooooo sloooow attttt shifffffting

Re: DSMStyle Exclusive Review: TCUgo
Curious about the push buttons how do they look and where did you mount them?
Are you going to get the paddle option when it comes available?

Down the line I may get the paddles, Hugo said they will be under $100.00.
