I had a really good time Thanks to everyone that set up/ran the event, and to LSE for hosting. The food was great as well.

A big thanks to the LSE crew, and the Mitsustyle crew for putting on a great event. I had fun hanging out for most of the day. The prizes kicked ass too. Nice job!

later,
Curt

Sweet! Brandon will be glad his car is on video, as his camera wasnt on when he dynoed. Do you have all 3 pulls on tape? Also his car didnt overheat. Just started leaking coolant at the thermostat cap and housing.

Curt didn't want to bring it up yet, but with everyone drolling over the Spyder, he's thinking about offering that up as a door prize for one of the next events.

Haha, nice. Ya my friend didn't hit the record button on our camera so it's nice to see someone else got it on tape!

I'm still trying to figure this issue out actually. Like Peter said, it didn't overhear, just started leaking all over. I got a new rad cap and new gasket, and I don't see it leaking from anywhere now, but I can still smell coolant, and it doesn't overheat but just seems to run fairly hot. It's been like this ever since the Duluth trip when that water pipe came out.

Even if the leaks are all sealed up you're going to smell coolant for at least a few days of driving. Coolant seems to take a long time to fully burn off.

I'm glad everyone had a good time. I enjoy cooking for everyone, I apologize that sometimes the burgers and dogs had been sitting a bit. Any comments and suggestions are welcome, but remember, this isn't Burger King. When I'm swimming in money I'll buy all the food for these dyno days and serve everyone a proper feast.

Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th

I just wanted to make my apology public, I was not able to make it to dyno day due to a couple of circumstances, (doing docks and no tob), but I would like to clarify that i had said something in the sign up thread, if I need to call for the future if that happens just let me know, again sorry and if its not running for the next one i'll just have to push it there or something. Haha

crazy_skier did say his TOB hadn't arrived in time, I forgot. He's in the clear! Btw, WTF does 'doing docks' mean....do you mean 'doing docs' as in letting some rich doctors do you from behind for $$$ or what?!?!?

Re: MitsuStyle Spring Opener & Dyno Day : Sat, April 28th

Since he lives in an area with lots of cabins, I'm going to guess it means he was either putting docks in the water or building new ones. If you are right though, I really hope they were the hot docs with big boobs they show on those doctor office internet porn sites where they wear nothing underneath their white coats!
