Sucks man  If it were me I'd probably just find another 7-bolt and throw it in. Seems like the simplest, cheapest, quickest way to get it back out so you can atleast enjoy it this summer.

Give me a yell if it is not ok Carl, I have a freshly rebuild head here on a 2g. Crower springs and retainers (could take those off), 5 angle valve job.

Thanks JET. It blew the #2 Rod but for some reason when I tried to take the spark plugs out the #3 plug turns 1/2 a turn then gets tight so I'm afraid something bad happened in the #3 cylinder.

I was logging at the time but after it blew I turned the key off and slammed the laptop closed. Here's what it says when I try to open the log. under statement to say the least.
